The
Reading room of Manuscripts
The
reading room of Manuscripts is intended for researchers/readers
that active research, that cannot be carried out elsewhere,
and concerns pastime with handwritten codes, archival collections,
micro tapes of manuscripts, transparencies, special printed
books and all that concerns the above categories. Specialized
personnel should transport the above material to the Reading
room of the Department. The bookshelves in the Reading room
contain only published aids with regard to handwritten material
and are allocated on demand to the researchers.

Copy,
Shoot and photocopying
There
is no general restriction in the copying manuscripts of texts.
The Department however does not bring responsibility for any
possible violation of the copyright in publication. All the
items of manuscript of material do not become acceptable for
photocopying, because of the danger of destruction of the
prototype. The personnel of Department mass propose an alternative
method of copies, when this is feasible, allocates its own
photographer that can cope with each type of photographic
reproduction. The readers are not allowed to remove micro
tapes or photographs. Form-application on reproduction of
manuscript of material should be supplemented and delivered
to the responsible employee of the Reading room. The forms
of application on photographing contain a statement, which
the reader should sign, that safeguards the rights of rule
copyright, if this exists. Permission of photocopying is given
for books that are kept in the Department
of Manuscripts, not older than 1920.

Use
of equipment of the Manuscripts Reading room
The acquisitions of the Department of
Manuscripts in micro tapes from external collections are available
in the Manuscripts Reading room and they can be carried out
with the help of special equipment. The orders of reproduction
of micro tapes can be completed, under the term that a proper
authorization (by the institution to which the primary material
belongs) will be gained. The readers can use the equipment
of the Manuscripts Reading room, in order to study micro tapes
that belong to them.
